The co-owner of Germer Insurance Services. Gary graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a BA in Political Science in 1995. He spent his first fourteen years out of college in corporate America with companies that included AT&T Wireless, Nokia Mobile Phones and T-Mobile USA. He held various positions in Sales and Sales Management and finished his corporate endeavor in Program Management in the National Sales Training division of T-Mobile USA. Gary joined his brother, Greg Germer, in purchasing their first insurance agency in November of 2009. Since that time the brothers have purchased 6 other independent insurance agencies and consolidated them into three offices strategically located in Bastrop, Lockhart and San Marcos, Texas. Gary loves to spend time with his family and his two Beagles. Maximillian (Max) and Alexander (Alex) are a major part of everything Gary does. Max is currently the company mascot for Germer Insurance Services and Rucker-Ohlendorf Insurance. He will soon be passing the reigns over to Alex as Max prepares for retirement at the age of 14. Gary also enjoys traveling and spending as much time at the beach as he can fit in.
